On 4 October 2019 a ceremonial event dedicated to Teacher's Day and the Civil Aviation Day of Kyrgyzstan was held at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov. The Director of the Aviation Institute, Kurmanov U.E., congratulated the teaching staff and employees on the notable dates and presented awards and honorary certificates to veterans of civil aviation and to the institute's lecturers. Students of the Aviation Institute prepared a concert programme.
