On 15 June 2022 a practical conference was held in the I.S. Nazarov conference hall — dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the distinguished sons of Kyrgyzstan: Heroes of the Soviet Union General-Major D. Asanov, Ch. Tuleberdiev, and Twice Hero of the Soviet Union T. Begeldinov.

About the heroes

• 1General-Major D. Asanov — Hero of the Soviet Union (on his combat awards).
• 2Ch. Tuleberdiev — Hero of the Soviet Union, who gave his life for the liberation of Moscow.
• 3T. Begeldinov — Twice Hero of the Soviet Union, born in Frunze, who flew more than 305 combat sorties, shot down 7 enemy aircraft and was twice awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union.

Participants and materials

K. S. Menseiitova, Honoured Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honorary Veteran of Bishkek, director of the historical museum MTO "Chon-Aryk" and chair for the commemoration of monuments of the Great Patriotic War, spoke about the heroic deeds of the above pilots.

First- and second-year students together with senior history lecturer Ch. N. Bazarbayeva prepared reports and video materials titled "Kyrgyz soldiers on the battlefields during the Great Patriotic War".
