On 12 December 2018 the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov held an "Evening of Poetry", timed to the Day of Kyrgyz Literature and dedicated to the work of A. Osmonov. Students conducted a video survey of teachers, staff and students asking, "Are you familiar with A. Osmonov's work?" and presented the survey results. They also acquainted guests with the life and work of the poet and read his poems. Scenes from the poet's life were prepared. At the end of the event the Director of the Aviation Institute, U.E. Kurmanov, thanked the organisers: Kyrgyz language teacher N. Malaeva and the students.
