On 2 November 2019, in the village of Lipenka, Jety‑Oguz district of Issyk‑Kul region, on the premises of the T. G. Shevchenko secondary school, a ceremonial event was held dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the legendary bomber pilot, assault aviator of the 46th Women’s Aviation Regiment, Evdokia Borisovna Pasko, and the 75th anniversary of her being awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union.

Ceremony

The ceremonial event began with a requiem rally organised by the akim of Jety‑Oguz district of Issyk‑Kul region, M. S. Ramatov, and the head of the T. G. Shevchenko secondary school, E. B. Bekturov. The event was attended by the director of the “Civil Aviation of Kyrgyzstan” museum, honorary aviator and veteran of Civil Aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic T. I. Boshumova, and Z. M. Nurkulova, a lecturer at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov.
