On 4 October 2018 a celebratory event was held at the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Civil Aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the 45th anniversary of the institution and Teachers' Day. — Veterans of civil aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic, heads and representatives of KR aviation enterprises and the Republican Trade Union of Aviation Workers of the KR were invited to the ceremony, and a concert organised by the institute's students took place.
