About the celebration
Fifty years is a considerable period during which our institution has established itself as a training and methodological centre for civil aviation, launched its own research activities, strengthened its material and technical base, and significantly expanded the range of programmes and specialities.
The solid foundations of theoretical and fundamental knowledge acquired at the Institute enable graduates to build successful careers and achieve goals in civil aviation. Today our alumni work not only in Kyrgyzstan but across continents and many countries worldwide, holding leadership positions and contributing to the development of global civil aviation.
This achievement is largely due to the united team of the Institute — the veterans who devoted their lives to teaching and research, academic staff and employees, students and graduates who are part of the Institute's history as patriots and professionals.

Organising committee and participation
On 7 October 2023 the Issyk‑Ata I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute celebrates its 50th anniversary. An organising committee has been established at the Institute to coordinate interaction among all parties.
