On 4 September 2017, the Minister of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kalilov Zhamshitbek Kalilovich, and the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, Akyshyev K.T., took part in the ceremonial rally dedicated to Knowledge Day and the opening of the new academic year at the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation College.
Minister's statement
As the minister noted, the history of the aviation college's development and formation is rich, and the institution will be further developed. The college stands on the threshold of significant transformations, and in the near future a higher educational institution will be established on its basis, with resources attracted for the further development of the material base. Work in this direction is progressing actively. Preserving the country’s sole aviation educational institution is one of the ministry's priority tasks and a firm position of the Ministry of Transport.
