About the decision
This decision was made taking into account the needs of the republic's aviation enterprises for specialists with higher aviation education. In this regard, on the basis of the existing infrastructure a modern higher educational institution in the field of aviation will be established, which will provide training for specialists with both higher and secondary vocational education.
Training focus
The main emphasis will be on training specialists at the request of domestic aviation enterprises, and subsequently for neighbouring and more distant foreign countries.
The implementation of the project will have a positive impact primarily for the Kyrgyz Republic, since at present there is a need for a modern aviation educational institution.
Regional and international scope
At the same time, this institution has a regional and international character, creating real prerequisites for providing educational services to other countries.
Significance for the country
Air transport has strategic importance for the country, and the further development of the country's only aviation educational institution, as well as the development of domestic civil aviation in general, is one of the priority areas in the work of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Government programme
This decision was also taken as part of the implementation of the government programme «Jany dooro – kyrk kadam» (Reform programme V. «Quality infrastructure»).
