The Training and Methodological Council of the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute is a permanent body for:

- participation in the organization and coordination of educational and methodological work,

- Discussions on major teaching and learning issues,

- preparation of recommendations to improve the quality of educational activities.

Areas of activity:

* Development of basic approaches to the implementation of priority areas of teaching and methodological work, including:

- improving the design of basic educational programs;

- optimization of educational and methodical work and improvement of the organization of the educational process;

- development of recommendations on implementation of the results of methodological developments in the educational process;

- quality control of basic educational programs;

- development of methods for assessing learning achievements and the level of competencies of students.

* Coordination of the activities of structural subdivisions on the development and improvement of educational programs in the areas of higher and

Secondary vocational education, as well as teaching and learning materials that support their implementation, including:

- discussion of topical issues of educational activities, including drafts of local acts regulating the formation and implementation of educational programs;

- promotion of educational innovations, organization of work on introduction of new and improvement of existing technologies, methods, means of education;

- coordination of work to improve the scientific and methodological potential of the teaching staff;

* Study and dissemination of best practices of domestic and foreign universities, search for ways to integrate into the international educational space:

- generalization and dissemination of best practices in the organization and improvement of educational and methodological work and introduction of new learning technologies;

- elaboration of proposals on the issues of education development and formation of priority directions in its realization.

The main tasks of the activities of the UMC:

• Organization of expert examination of working curricula and working curricula of disciplines, taking into account the requirements of state educational standards.
• Consideration and coordination of the work plans of the UMS of departments and divisions.
• Consideration of issues of educational and methodical support of the educational process.
• Discussing and making proposals to improve draft regulatory legal documents related to methodological support issues.

Discussion of proposals to improve the list of specialties (professions) on the basis of forecasting priority directions of production and science technologies.
