The library is a structural subdivision of the Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute participating in the educational process in order to ensure the right of participants of the educational process to free use of library and information resources.
Library and information service is provided in accordance with the training and educational plans of the aviation institute, programs and work plan of the library.
Objective:
- meeting the needs of the individual in obtaining education and qualification in the chosen field of professional activity, intellectual, cultural and moral development.
Objectives:
- providing the participants of the educational process - students, teachers, employees of the educational institution - with access to information, knowledge, ideas, cultural values through the use of library and information resources,
- Building skills of independent library use, learning to search, select, critically evaluate information,
- improving the services provided by the library through the introduction of new information technologies and computerization of library and information processes, creating a comfortable library environment,
- interaction with libraries of other systems and departments.
Functions:
- formation of a fund of library and information resources,
- creation of information products,
- providing readers with library and information services free of charge,
- Identification and study of chitetal interests in order to adjust collection plans in accordance with educational programs and plans,
- implementation of differentiated library and information services for teaching staff.
