On November 7, 2025 in the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute was held a lecture of the Director of the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Bostonov with the faculty and students of the university on the theme: "International recognition, reforms and leadership of civil aviation of Kyrgyzstan".

During the meeting, Mr. Daniyar Bostonov noted that the development of domestic aviation is under the special attention of President Sadyr Zhaparov. According to him, in recent years, reforms aimed at improving flight safety and development of air transport have been actively implemented.

The head of the agency noted the work done to remove Kyrgyzstan "from the security list" of the European Union, which the country was included in 2006. On this occasion, representatives of the State Civil Aviation Agency of Kyrgyzstan took part in a meeting in Brussels, and next year the final audit of the European Commission is expected. The final decision is planned for 2026.

Daniyar Bostonov stressed that Kyrgyzstan has successfully passed two audits of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), showing one of the best results in the region.

In conclusion, the head of the agency noted the shortage of air traffic controllers in the country (about 20%) and the best graduates of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov have excellent job prospects.
