From November 24 to December 7, students of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute took an active part in the international program "Winter University of Engineering Sciences", which was held at the sites of three leading Russian universities: St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Novgorod State University and Samara University.

Within the framework of the program, more than 600 engineering students from near and far abroad exchanged experience and participated in educational modules.

200 young engineers from Armenia, Belarus, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, South Africa and Russian regions took classes in Russian and English at the Samara Korolev University.

The key stage of the Winter University was the work of 22 international teams on real engineering cases. The expert jury determined the top three leaders:

  • AUES team - development of a stellar navigation system for lunar exploration.
  • The Pyropatron team - creating cost-effective solutions for Arctic patrols and construction site monitoring using UAVs.
  • Team "tVRBocAr" is a lunar base project for mineral exploration.

Participation in the "Winter University" allowed KAI students not only to expand their professional skills, but also to gain valuable inspiration for future projects and startups in the field of engineering and technology.
