The State Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic holds a workshop on assessment and management of aviation safety risks for managers and specialists of domestic airports, airlines, aviation fuel supply, air navigation and ground handling organizations. The seminar is held at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov.

The main objectives of the event are:

• gaining knowledge of the basic principles of risk management;
• Understanding the relationship between threat and risk;
• Ability to identify sources of risk and sources of information;
• An understanding of the approach to proactive risk assessment;
• The ability to identify and define plausible scenarios;
• The ability to analyze criticality and vulnerability;
• Ability to analyze risks based on probability and consequences;
• Knowledge of the correct application of criteria for risk assessment;
• skills in developing and updating the threat list, etc.
